I lived in Paris for over three months, I felt like I did so much and made the most of every second; It’s just one of those cities you can’t help but do so. This is what I believe are the top things to do in the city of light (and love)!
- Walk up the Eiffel Tower, it’ll take it out of you but worth it
- Musée d’Orsay, by far my favourite museum in the world, but I do love impressionism.
-
Musée Rodin see ‘Le Penseur’ in Autumn when the leaves are falling
- Louvre, see everything but the Mona Lisa, the Sculpture court is my favourite
- Jardin des Tuileries see them in summer when the flowers are out and sunbathe by the fountain.

- L’Arc de Triomphe, walk up in the day and then again at night
- Centre Pompidou, and watch the buskers in the square afterwards
- Cimetière du Père Lachaise, kiss Oscar Wilde’s Grave and see Edith Piaf. I went on ‘La Toussaint’ 1st November, when everyone goes to honour the dead, it was beautiful.

- Basilique de Sacre-Coeur, walk around Montmartre afterwards, it’s so arty and quaint.
- Jardin de Luxembourg, my second favourite park in Paris
- Eat frogs’ legs
- Have a Ladurée macaroon afterwards, or Pierre Hermé they are a close second.
- See the golden roof of the Palais Garnier

- Crazy Horse, best show I’ve ever seen (much better than the Moulin Rouge), it’s raunchy though and even inspired Beyoncé!
- Musée Quai Branly, probably the best museum for children in Paris
- Have a cocktail at the Experimental Cocktail Club
- Have an even better cocktail at Candelaria afterwards (the Mexican takeout restaurant is just a front, go inside)
- Shop at Gallerie Lafeyette
- Have a coffee at the George V in the courtyard, this is the best hotel in Paris
- Go to Mass at the Notre Dame, I went to the British Remembrance Day service here and was so moved
- Go and see the Sorbonne where some of the great minds of France have studied
- Les Jardins des Plantes followed by Les Jardins des Pates for lunch
- Marche aux Puce, this was my favourite place to spend a Sunday

- Ice cream from Berthillon, this might change your life
- Île Saint-Louis is the Bohemian Poetic centre of Paris
- Bois de Boulogne, if you fancy some fresh air and woodland
- Les Deux Magots, have a hot chocolate in the most famous of French cafes
- Hot chocolate at café de Flore, just another extremely historically famous café
- Hot Chocolate at Angelina’s, arguably better than Les Deux Magots
- Have lunch at Ralphs, most gorgeous courtyard to enjoy a deluxe burger
- Bibliotheque National, be in awe of this stunning place
- Versailles, go and visit the infamous home of Marie Antoinette
- Have dinner at Maxims, the most iconic of Parisian restaurants and the Art Nouveau era
- Palais royal, a gorgeous central park tucked away from the louvre with fab shops around the periphery.
- Musée de la Shoah, not touristy at all but so interesting to see France’s past with WWII
- The Picasso Museum, recently renovated and glorious!
- Promenade Plantée, just somewhere nice to walk
- Place des Victoires, such a beautiful square and good for shopping

- Rue Sainte Honoré for shopping!
- Bistrot Vivienne, for mulled wine at Christmas time
- Musée Jacquemart-Andre, not a touristy museum and a lovely house to walk around.
- Shakespeare and Co, buy a book from here and cherish it forever
- Brunch at Carette, overlooking the Place des Vosges
- See the stained-glass windows at Sainte Chapelle, again not touristy and all the better for it
- Have Sushi at Blueberry, this is the best Japanese restaurant in town.
- Go out at Titty Twister, you’ll have a fun night!
- Have a cocktail at Kong if you want to feel like you’re Sarah Jessica Parker
- Go for a drink at Le Comptoir Général
- Have a steak at L’Entrecote, it’s just a classic!
- Dinner at Chartier and think you’re living in the hussle and bussle if the Belle Époque

Hope you enjoy Paris as much as I did!
